That's a pretty cool little kit. I'm a sucker for small tins and assorted containers too. Did you ever think of using a section of inner tube to secure the lid?

Jeff

i tried...the tube i have is WAY to small. this aint all that small really

7x2x6

its pretty hefty

Looks great. I'm actually revamping my kit (an ongong process as I'm sure most of you can agree with) and putting it in a German Mess kit. I love the idea of a pot to boil water in, cook in, gather food in, or just whatever and the German Mess Kit, being aluminum is quit light.

I'll try to work up some pics soon to post.

Been gone for a while with work and such. Glad to be back.

Charlie

in hand pics of the best small fixed blade i have ever had. this is by far my most prized farmer knife. I have a *few* others but this on is by far the best feeling and performing user i have

1095 steel
1/8th thick
belt sheath hardened with bees wax.
osage handles and mosaic pin.
OAL of 4.5 inches

Sweet! Great way to show off your farmer too! David is a great guy, and makes great knives CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet pick up bro! I have a Farmer similiar but it is the drop point version--talk about a sweet little knife you can trust your life on!

I have a couple of David Farmer blades now with 2 more coming, due to your in hand pics, there may be a 3rd coming. Thanks for that. He really does make some scary sharp useful blades, and like Fiddleback stated. Very inexpensive!
