I had a fellow forum member make my scales and an IWB sheath for my 52100 Mule and I thought I would show it off. One of the main things I have noticed is the 52100 takes an incredibly sharp edge. Its holds it pretty well but the edge it takes from both the standard Sharpmaker rods and a sapphire hone I have is just fantastic. A very fine edge. It cuts like a laser. I have really enjoyed this steel and Spyderco did a great job by not making it too thick. I really think this steel is a winner and because of this project I am looking to buy other knives of the same steel.

Hi I missed out on the Muleteam-52100,my hard luck.
But I have used knives made out of 52100 steel..As you have said, it is a great steel for a knife and holds a wonderful edge when properly heat treated.
