I dont think so, i believe its some kind of synthetic that has every property of g10... but its not as rigid because its molded, not layered.

Update: I got an email today saying a package has shipped from the same place the OD Scale was born... new scale time!!!!

Whats the big deal if its not “real G-10”? The material he uses, has basically all the same properties of G10, also, on this knife strength doesnt matter because the scale is backed by a liner..
the stuff is a homerun for me, it gives me a custom look, at a cheap cost.

Good luck picking a color(s), the guy does amazing work and I spent a few hours looking through his samples on the bay for my own 0560.
Will have to put up pics when it arrives, can't wait.

Those are sweet! Especially the OD one(not a big fan of red, personally). In case anyone's interested, I just read (on ZT's Facebook page, I think), that Hinderer is going to be producing 0560 scales in the very near future, like in the next few weeks, If I remember correctly. Not to take away from these fine scales, but I think I would also prefer actual G-10, depending on the cost, of course!
