Thanks for the chance to play. I haven't done many GAW, but thought I would give this one a try.
This is a special knife to me, it was my grandfather's and I convinced him to pass it down to me instead of sell it. Original 1906 Tuna Valley. Sold by Case, but made in Germany.
I would be remiss not to note that 626 is the experiment number of Stitch in Disney's Lilo and Stitch. I know this because Stitch is, has been, and likely always will be my daughter's favorite character since she met him in the park on her third birthday (over seven years ago). Anyway...back to knife related content.
Its been nice to have you around, thanks for the great GAW! I'm in, as all you're offering are patterns I want to try. Here's a photo, of my Camillus 14 that just makes me swell up with nostalgic pride and joy.
wow, lots of beauties. Kudos on the giveaway, that's very cool of you. Too young here to enter *sigh* but I'm cheering everyone else on. Woohoo!! Knives, knives, knives, knives . . . . .
I've been eyeing the Case mini trapper in CV for a while now! I'd very much like to try that pattern out. So please count me in.
Here's the only knife I've ever won in a GAW. And actually just yesterday I gave it away! How can you resist when your 7 year old sees your knife and says, "ooooh daddy I like this one! It's creamy and pretty!" So she got my RR Canoe and my 10 year old got her first peanut! So that means I don't own any Case knives anymore either!
I have been lucky enough on this sub forum over the time that I have been here that I feel like someone else should have the opportunity to win. So as nice as those knives are, I am not entering... but I still want to participate in the thread!
So my participation photo is the lovely knife that I just got at the OKCA show thanks to Charlie Waynorth's material generosity, as well as the 2015 Traditional Forum knife that I think of as a result of the generosity of Waynorth and Gunstockjack and all the other folks around here that made it possible. This photo just made me very happy (which is why I have shared it three times on this forum in the last few days, sorry if y'all are getting sick of it). I just really enjoy the porch, and the generosity one finds here. Which is why, as much as I like the knives (especially that AG Russell), I want to make sure that other people are getting to partake in the generosity.
Browning 4018. 70's vintage. The browning's were made way better back then. Custom sheath. Please count me in, great thread!
