Guys, please do NOT! call it a "Bend Test". That is so misleading and inaccurate.
It gives the idea to the casual observer that the focus of the test is to bend!
It's a performance test.
The knife is required to shave, cut and chop, in other words, PERFORM the functions of a knife, and at the end, bend to 90 degrees without breaking.
Returning as much as possible to straight.
Now, that said, congratulations on a well done knife. That right there is the way a knife SHOULD look after the performance test. I see many that end up with a set kink in them and that shows me someone who only tried to PASS the performance test.
This knife defied the performance test.
Very well done.
