You want talk about guilt, huh? Well I don't, but I'm going to do it anyway, since I consider myself something of an unwilling expert. Yes, guilt can be a healthy thing, but being raised Jewish, I know more about guilt that most neighborhoods, and I have been fighting it ever since I knew what it was. Being wrong is part of what people are - we are people, not angels. People do enough things in this world for the wrong reasons for me to worry about wrong things people do for the right reasons. Some people the path to hell is lined with good intentions, but I don't think so, I think it is lined with apathy and false intentions, that is people knowing they are doing the wrong things and telling themselves it's the right thing to do.papathud said:My kids say that I should be a travel agent,,,,,I keep going on, or keep sending them on "Guilt" Trips.
Guilt is what I do when I feel that I have done wrong, followed for the most part by acknowledgment, apology and then possible restitution.
People who do much, make mistakes, what I want to do is to learn from them and move on with my life with greater knowledge and understanding.
Failure is an opportunity to begin again with more knowledge and experience.
