Yes, she was really impressed with the LSCF. She even flipped it a couple of times, which she wasn't willing to even try before.

That's awesome my friend, she picked two great knives that is for sure. I just discussed my knife obsession with my wife last night and she just doesn't get it and probably never will.

Yeah, mine doesn't get it either, but at least she seems to tolerate it well enough.

Yeah, my newly prettied up Southard is rapidly becoming my favorite knife. It's sturdy enough that I don't miss my 710 around home, and small enough that I think I can get away with it at the office. I barely even notice that someone put a big hole in the blade anymore

The southard and the sage are both amazing blades. Southard may have dethroned the Sage as my all time favorite Spyderco.
