My interest in knives cycles throughout the year, from "I love knives and I'm fine with my collection as it is now" to "I love knives and I need all the knives that I see". Well... I'm in the upswing. I just ordered an NOS Spyderco Titanium Delica ATS-34, a NOS Mcusta Yoroi, a NOS Spyderco Leafstorm, and a Pre-owned William Henry Carbon Fiber T09. Hopefully that will tide me over.

Excellent! Please post pictures. I didn't know Spyderco had made that particular model Delica, although I was aware of the Damascus/titanium version (which is on my wish list).

It's an older model. I'm not sure if it was for sale in the US, but from my research they were only sold in Japan. Here's a thread with a little info. I'll definitely post pictures once they arrive!

Just annual? Ur doin OK! My "No self control" buys seem to be happening weekly lately lol!
I'm being optimistic? Who am I kidding, I'll probably splurge again in a couple months.

Good luck controlling your purchasing urges.

NOS, threw me off years ago. Along with how LNIB did. Like New In Box

I bought two blades yesterday when I visited the large knife store in TN. Probably would have bought more except they kicked me out when the lights were turned down. I was the last customer in the store and it's a big store.

New Old Stock, I bet. Older knives that are new in box.

Given I don't know of any knife companies making current knives with ATS-34

Zero

Cool. Learning new things is always good. There are definitely some NOS knives that I wouldn't mind having. Benchmade Rukus to name one. Miss that guy.

I used to have a leafstorm. I loved the "idea" of it so much (jade g-10 and titanium, built in the USA?!) but the ergos (for me) were so terrible I had to sell it. Sometimes I regret it but then I remember how awful it felt in my hand.

Yeah, I have some fear that it will be the same with me, but I need to at least give it a try after all this time looking for one.
