My ASH tribute sheath

Wow!! Really, REALLY sweet! Love the logos and your work is just impressive. Thanks for posting the pics!

that is a great looking sheath. If you want to make that shock cord faster to get off, you could try stitching a small color matched leather tab over the shock cord. (of course it might be as fast as you need it the way it is, since I have not fondled it I could not say)

very nice.

Fantastic mate. Are the stiches done by hand? If so do you use and awl or one of those pitchfork things.

Very nice indeed!! I like it!:D

You did a great job, very clean look.:thumbup:

That my friend is a beautiful sheath!

You're very talented, thanks for sharing!

Thanks, all!

Fantastic mate. Are the stiches done by hand? If so do you use and awl or one of those pitchfork things.

Yep it's hand-stitched. My fingers were sore the day after. :D I use an overstitch wheel to mark the grooved leather, then I use a drill press with a 1/16" bit to drill almost through to the other side, then groove the other side after drilling.

Very, very nice job. Not only does the sheath warn of it's contents but also will be quite fashionable for a 'zombie/apocalypse' scenario as mentioned on one of the other recent threads.
Once again, top drawer work

Wow- Great design, f&f, stiching and dye! Also, very nice photos! So where do I sign up for lessons?

I'm wanting more feedback on my sheaths. Would anyone be interested in a passaround starting in the next couple weeks? I would be happy to make another sheath like this, designed for the magnum handles (which would hold the standard handles too, just not as snugly), and send it out to others to use for a bit, as long as you give me feedback. I want to build better sheaths, and I don't think I can do that just by posting pictures of 'em.

If you're interested, let me know. By volunteering you are obligating yourself to giving me feedback on fit and function of the sheath, and passing it along to the next in line (unless it breaks, in which case it goes back to me). If there's enough interest I'll make a passaround thread. Thanks folks.
