Very nice!!!
I love these stoves. I just built one and got a 3:10 boil time for 16oz of water. Although I haven't figured out a windscreen/stand system yet

How do you seal the two cans together?

there are a lot of different ways to make this stove... some people don't even use any sealant since they say that alcohol burns hotter than the sealant can take... also, they say sometimes if you do a very good job a fitting the cans then there is no need for sealant...

I used JB Weld (you can get it at home depot, lowes, any hardware store)...

the stand and the screen is what took me the most... the screen i used from something i found a work... it was pretty much trash but i turned into my screen :D... also for the stand i had a few things but using the two wires across seemed to be the best way.... the cup is more stable this way...

I had a problem with the wires though... since i used copper wire i found, then they burned, the weight of the cup with the water made it bent... after heating the copper wire a few times, it becomes very flexible... so now I used two metal wires that come with paper fasteners... i haven't tried them yet, but seem to be stronger than the copper wire...

my boil times are about the same too... 3 minutes...

my advice... when using a screen make sure you are giving enough oxygen to the stove...

i tried my screen really tight to the cup but did not give it enough oxygen and the thing burned for like 12 minutes (when it usually burns for just 6min on one ounce of alcohol...) and the water what not even bubleing at all...

Looks great. Gotta love the alcohol stoves. I'll never buy white gas again!

i really like the stove... i am still testing it with the screen... the closer the screen the worst the heating is... it's weird... the way that screen is on the picture still too close...

Right now, the best setup, is to spread the screen more and i removed the metal sticks where the pot sits... and i put something else to the inner diameter of the stove to hold the pot... and it seems to be better...

i wanted to go out and test it today but it was a little too hot around this area... i think i'll try it during the "Survival Hike"... :D
