did you model the fingers to your own hand? how many iterations did it take?

Id love to make some scales too but until I find some access to a drill press its really just a daydream like the armor I want to forge.

I did. It was only one try. I wrapped my hand around the handle and just marked each side of my fingers. Then i just filed the middle between each mark. I didnt really use my drill press after punching the holes through the black micarta. I used a hand dril for the green liners and the came out fine. A drill press wouldn't help with much else. With a steady hand and a good eye you could get pretty straight holes.
