My Axis Mouse

Presidio!
With a CE & not a mini though.
The blade is 440C - 1 15/16".
I used a couple standoffs and some Micarta.
The holes in the liners made the job a little more challenging.
It was pretty fun! So fun I might try this again.
If I can find another cheap beater.
It fits on the belt like it isn't even there!
It's my sheeple friendly EDC, Legal in all 50?
Thank you all, for your kind words.

Awesome.... good work to all you guys knowing it was a presidio.. you guys really know your stuff :D

Modified, you gotta be kiddin', complete redesign is more like it, it is cute though.

My guess would be a 710 too, at least that was my first gut impression, (of course I'd be wrong, I shoulda finished readin' the rest of the replies before I answered).

I knew it was whatever the Bone Collector was based on which I was pretty sure was the Presidio.

I'm not sure I would have the nerve to hack a knife up that much but it did turn out neat.

Thanks again, for all the encouraging words.
I really like Benchmade's, as you can see. They hold all the top spots in my collection. I think their Axis lock design is outstanding.
I'm a Locksmith, by trade, and I am often required to fabricate pieces and/or parts that are necessary for a specific application. I find the Mechanical troubleshooting and/or problem solving part of my job extremely rewarding. So, this whole process was like a party for me, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

Here's a Benchmade I modified.
Can you tell what it used to be?

Curious what carbon fiber knife this is?

Great job by the way.

Really good work on it!

That other one is a bladetech mouse right?

Yup, EricV is right.
It is a Bladetech; Tim Wegner designed "Mouse" - with a S30V blade.
It is a very nice knife.
But, I had to have an Axis.
I'm not a huge fan of lockbacks.
It is super light though.
