I didn't want to drag that old thread up from the depths so here's a new one.

As you know from the previous thread Joey Paranee gave me one of his slots with Bill and and pictured below are the results.

10 1/8" of mirror 1084 Hell's Belle blade followed up by 5 7/8" of Coffin Handle in prime cocobolo. Guard and collar are steel and the escutcheon plate and pins are nickel.

Sheath is Chestnut leather with Brown Alligator inlay. Sheath stud is by Bill as well and it is really pretty.

The worst part of this whole deal was having to wait so long:D:D:D (three or four weeks IS a long time when you are my age)

It looks very nice! Congratulations!

Did he make the stud and send it to you, or did it come with the sheath?

yeah, where did you get that awesome sheath?:D

classy knife for a guy who puts out nothing but pure class, ( I mean you, Paul Long).

Paul that is a classic

Fantastic piece of wood and the shape of that blade is really on the money

As always your sheath work is the finest out there but this piece really matches that knife extremely well

Here are your pics blown up

Prime cocobolo sounds like an understatement, Paul.
From the pics that looks like as nice of a hunk as I've ever seen and I love the stuff.
Beautiful Bagwell and your sheath matches so nicely.
Congratulations on quite a package.

Very nice, Paul. That is some good looking cocobolo.

Very special, Paul. I like your new Bagwell a lot! And, you sure didn't have to wait 'Long' for the sheath. :D Super looking bowie, and I'll bet it feels great in hand.

Congrats!!

That's a beauty of a knife and an outstanding sheath. I don't ususally care for coffin handles, but it sure looks great on this knife.

Congratz on a beautiful piece! 3-4 weeks wait for a Bagwell? You lucky bastard! Mine is due May 2011! :p

Oh, man... That's some very special knife. Congratulations. Even the cocobolo is totally awesome. I like the silver accouterments.
