my balisong shirt design

How about a ringer shirt, ya know, black shirt with white collar and sleeve rings. Ya could have something kickass printed on it incorporating the balisong, like "Balisong artists do it with their hands." On second though, I think we'll skip that particular catch phrase.:D

honestly though I think that is a good idea.. the shirt will cost a few more dollars but would make a COOL "retro" skate shirt.. maybe "Hook ups" will discover and hire me and I can conquer the WORLD!! MUWAHAHAHA!

BaliLover, that is an EXCELLENT idea! I don't have enough ringers, and I love the ones I do have! :D

These too are ideas not without merit; the latter could be done in excellent taste in the nose art style of WWII bombers, on a jacket, perhaps in leather as well as red satin.

Really great perspective and artistic impression! I believe Mr. Samson himself would approve the Custom Wee-Hawk.., and he was originally and Art Major.

Very nice work as always.., and I'll have at least two.., a jacket.., matching socks.., three ties.., and a version done on my surfboard. :)

Hey Chuck, I was refering to Les's choice of blue, as in all those blue BM boxes. You know like the two you got for Christmas and still haven't shared the contents.

As for Snipes concept, Red is definitely in. Red satin Tour jackets are mucho cheap if you have friends in the military. Anybody with good buddies stationed in Korea? ;)
 
Ringers? If that's what I think it is, I don't like it. Pics, please?

I think I would just prefer a regular t-shirts... With big sleeves. But if something else comes out, I'll buy that too, and pride my wall with it. :D
 
Just another question... I hope you're going to make that motive a BACK motive? And not on the front?

And when do you expect ready shirts?
 
I'm an old school Surf/Skate shirt kind of desgner.. I dont liek wearing big pics on th efront of my shirt unless it's a bullseye =).

I am still waiting for callbacks if not I will go to a local printer.. production time is 2 weeks. but you know I put the order in when I ask for a size breakdown.. ie. I ask you guys (cough cough balilover) how many Smalls you need :)
 
The way I want the shirt to be:
  • You can cut the copyright text, but leave the rest.
  • I too think you should put a BM logo on the tang. It looks kinda 'sad' without...
  • It's not a question to have it in non-colours! Colour only. And damn the expense! ;)
  • White shirt
  • Back image.
  • Maybe a modest 'Balisong' logo on the front of the shirt.
  • And the amount: I'm currently thinking of 4 (if my girlfriend wants one, that is. If she wants one, that's 3 in XXL, and one in probably S. If she doesn't want one, I'll 'just' take 3 XXLs. :))
 
Keep the sniperboy logo? How can you keep something that isn't there? Or am I missing out on something?

But I DO think that you should have something that's persnal for you on it though, sniperboy... Like the sb logo.

still no word from the printers.. to hell with it.. I will find a local printer to do it. Thanks for the supports.. I might make the minimum oprder after all :p
 
Minimum order? And how many will that be? Just as many as there are ppl ordering?
 
I think the minimum is 36. it's no big deal if I dont sell all of them I can keep them and use them as tactical dishrags :)
 
Man! You must be loaded if you're not worried about any overhead cost that you might incur. Geez! I wish I had that kind of freedom.

Yes, by all means, please put the SB logo on front! :cool: And I'm still in favor of the ringer idea, though of course it is the artist's ultimate decision, as it should be ;). Do you want us to place our orders here? Or some other way you'd prefer - new thread, email you directly, etc...

sometimes it's not enough sometimes it's all you need. (not like I do this for a living though)

I will check out the ringer shirts.. btw if I am not mistaken a ringer is basically a say.. whit ecoloured wshirt with blue (or different colour rings) on the neck and sleeve bands??

btw dont send orders yet.. I really apprecaite the faith and support you guys have bt let me at elast get somewhere with the printing :)
