A classic in the Bark River line up, …a hard working blade for sure.

Good choice.

congrats... those fox rivers are great knives... i had a northstar, but recently parted with it, since my Bravo-1 now gets all the love...:o

Looks awesome bro, but I have to ask...your hand looks very large compared to the handle length, does this seem to be a problem ?

Handle looks a little small to me as well. Does it feel like it could be larger to fit your hand better?

Other than that, looks like a great knife!

I have pretty big hands and was a bit concerned about the size of the Fox River handle.

Once I got the knife in hand and started using it, any thoughts of it being too small where quelled.

The handle just works, and floats effortlessly in my hand in a variety of holds.

Appears as though you have a slightly different sheath than the standard bush craft B Sharpshooter sheath supplied with the Fox Rivers. At least the one I am familiar with. Is that a belt loop I see in your first sheath picture? Any pics of the back of the sheath? Just out of curiosity.

The sheath pictured is the earlier style sheath with a “fold over” style belt loop; the newer sheaths have a "sown-on" belt loop.

The newer sheaths have the added benefit of the belt passing through the tight loop adds pressure to the knife handle keeping the knife more securely retained.

Sharpshooter is always working on the designs, and this modification addresses the common problem of knives riding loosely in pouch style sheaths.

And remember, for those who prefer a lower riding sheaths an adjustable Drop Loop is available.

pimp nugget i was just wondering if that is a scout model light my fire steel on there?

if so, how well does it fit? i was under the impression that the loops only fit army size ones.

thanks.
