My Battle Mistresses so far…

Thanks guys. The CGFBM and FFBM are spectacular in person. Garth did a real good job on them. To clear up any confusion, the Shop did the satin and comp finish on both those blades, as well as the liners. The snakeskin was already on them, so there's no point harassing the crew for new snakeskin slabs.

*sigh* I'm still on a high from the weekend.

Me too mate! I'd be happy to come up and help in that garden any time.

Chris.

Satin and Snakeskin  Reminds me of the "old school" collections I used to see posted when I first came here.

Having gotten the CGFBM and FFBM in snakeskin and red liners you need to keep a look out for one of the 1-13 NMFBM's done in Satin and Snakeskin. These were the last of the Snakeskin grips to go on BM's. Some of the 13 showed up at Knob Creek in the Fall 2008 show.

If you had one of those and got it re-done with red liners you would have a great set of the Fusion handles:thumbup:

Hi Peter,

I know the ones you mean. I think Trevor has (or had) a couple. I would kill for one but I think those particular NMFBM's will be out of my price range. I'd probably get a MOAB from the Shop for not much more, and the MOAB is high on the list of dream knives for me now.

It'd be nice to see some of those old school collections you mentioned. I bet there's a lot hidden out there.

Chris.

There are a lot of old Hogs MIA ...

I forget who owned this one now ... it was a LE HOFSH run with Snakeskin ... IIRC I copied this off a post in the exchange ... back then it was going for $1600.00 ...

Trevor had a big Snakeskin collection going at one point ... Jaxx probably has a good number too ...

That HOFSH is very nice. I sold one just recently, except it was double cut. I only asked half of that price you mentioned. Oh well, the buyer got a bargain.
