I was on the road tonight and setting up my hotel room the way I like it when I realized that my bedside table setup is almost ritualistic and brings great comfort to me. So I took a cool picture and was curious what everyone else's setup was. This is mine tonight, the benefit of driving and not flying being that I can carry without hassle.

Wow, great looking Sebenza!
I keep everything in a valet,, keys/wallet/knife/etc,,,, and yeah I do arrange it a certain way.

Thanks RCB! I'm not totally crazy about the riddled, but I am now officially in love with CRK's. This was practically gifted to me by a member here so I could own my first one, so it will never leave the family!

Not going to lie Scout, I really want a Sebenza now, gorgeous.
Here's my bedside table, typically. IProtec Jag flashlight, small guardian light, Kershaw Emerson Cqc-4kXL, my Taurus PT-845, my AR with a 20 round mag. I don't like having to go far for self defense at night, especially with how far away from people I live.

That AR is just an expensive weight without the mag in it, gas it up!

The CRK disease is as bad as your first AR. All I can think about is the next one.

I don't have a pic but my nightstand consists of a cheap but super bright LED light, my HK VP9 w/ spare mag, and a Mossberg 500 next to it. My wife's nightstand houses a Glock 19 w/ 2 mags and a similar light. We're not overly paranoid but because of how our apartment is laid out if anyone comes in on my wife and I there's only one way out and it's through them. And we intend to get out.

42 round Pro-Mag always loaded with 62 Grain steel core and always in my gun, the 20 rounder with 55 Grain Perfecta is just to throw in my shorts if I hear something outside

The AR disease hit me hard this year, $1600 dumped into that one gun...and it still has an A2 birdcage and M4 profile barrel. But I can't wait for this next year, I think the Sebenza is on my list and I have to see what all the fuss is about, It's definitely kicked the Fantoni off the top of my list.

Statistically you are more likely to have your gun used on you or a family member than you are to ever use it on a "bad guy". I sure hope you train with it and can wake instantly with full faculties turned on...

Somebody last month shot to death some poor kid who was sleepwalking and entered their house. I used to sleep walk as a kid...

I keep a loaded pit bull, phone and a flashlight by my bed per advice from the police :)

Spend a few bucks a buy a real magazine. I hope that doesn't come across rude but I wouldn't trust my life to a pro mag. They have an absolutely terrible reputation.

Back on topic, I don't have a picture but my nightstand has a g19 with a trls-1 strapped on it,a fenix flashlight and a knife of some kind. Usually what I carried that day.

I'll take my chances with a firearm sir

Taurus public defender, Buck Omni hunter, Mossberg 500 that I've had and used for 32 years.
God Bless
Tracy

Flashlight , S&W Model 66 , One of my large folding knives , Cellphone to call for clean up crew.

No picture, but usually my Sebenza, cell phone, Klarus ST2C flashlight, sketchbook with mechanical pencil and eraser, and my cold steel kukri machete rests behind my headboard.

^^^^ I agree. I hear about more intruders getting shot than I hear about intruders shooting home owners with their own gun. I think people are quoting hearsay when they erroneously say, "your more likely to have your gun taken away from you and used against you". Quote the sources for this propaganda if your going to use it.

Don't waste your breath brownshoe. You'd be right except that we all live in fear that there's a boogie man lurking around every corner, and even though you have better odds of being attacked by a lightning bolt we all buy Power Ball tickets because somebody has to win. Sure, a few people live in bad area's and maybe some heat is warranted, but for 99.9%, it actually is a liability. Statistics don't lie.

Lol, pics!

Come on it's a nightstand thread not a gun debate. Plenty of that everywhere else right now<~

Sorry for the words of caution, but I have personal experience. A guy I grew up with accidentally shot to death his brother with a revolver and a coworker's brother was killed with a rifle while hunting...killed in the cab of his truck.

I am not against guns, I just hope all those with the pictures of sweet weapons are well trained and keep their training current.
