Looks like a work horse to me. If she runs straight and true this is one heck of a buy for someone close to you and needs a second or third machine. The motor and controller is worth that.

DC variable controlled, that is a sweethart of a deal folks. If you have ever used a DC variable controlled grinder, you will not want to go back to single speed. Scoop it up, I am just allittle too far for shipping, and have a variable speed Wilton in my shop.
