This knife is just unbelievably nice!

It is a modified GEC #15 boy's knife, only the blades and springs are original.

This is a long pull clip, with pen blade secondary. It has MILL RELIEVED stainless steel liners, bronze bolsters, blue dyed Oregon Maple Burl scales, and a double pinned shield. The blades and bolsters have a nice, hand-rubbed, satin finish, both springs are flush at the open position (as is standard with factory blades and springs), and the action is just amazing. The pull on the main blade is at a 5, and the pen is around a 6. Both blades are shaving sharp, both are centered between the liners, and neither of them have any blade play.

Here you can see the tang reliefs I cut on my new mill:

Thanks doc!

The mill relief prevents the visible part of the tang from being scratched by the liners, and improves the action tremendously. It is just silky smooth.

That's beautiful work... eye catching for sure! 👍

Although the handles are not an acrylic it reminds me of the GEC 25 purple haze "Starry Night" handle. Super cool knife.

Sooo nice! Another amazing piece Evan! The figuring on that wood...And that shield and the bronze bolsters, just beautiful man!:thumbup:

Thank you for the compliments, everyone!

Whoever buys this one is going to be one happy camper!

I'm so glad this one found a home. Beautiful work Evan. It wouldn't have been a pretty sight of me grovelling to my wife later today for the money to purchase this one. :D

I was shocked it lasted as long as it did and count myself very lucky! Can't wait to see it in person.
