Smooth Finish and the rare sheaths make the Basics an interesting find, only a very limited number were ever shipped in those sheaths, and particularly the #5 in that sheath.

Did the leg straps come with the #7? were they black? or Green?

Yes the leg straps are original. They are black.

The Basics #3 and #9 are way easy to get compared to the #5 and #7.

The #3 and #9 in that time period sheath while a little tougher are still easy to find compared to the two you all ready have.

I have the Matching #3 and #9, the #3 is my Short Beater knife and the #9 is a gift to be, to an Airforce Sgt to be His Big Beater knife.

My Wife's #9 has the Next sheath after that one, same basic sheath, no leg straps and connects to belt without the Dangler.

Her #5 sits in Buy Brown.

I'm not 100% sure that I will keep these basics because if I do I will feel compelled to complete the set...But who knows....maybe I will...:confused:
