I chuckle because I have had two of the knives you just posted. I still have the BK10 and its my all time fav, never leaving

giving it another go round. nothing helps more than tearing everything down and rebuilding from scratch. over the years it easy to grow into two different people, yet still expect the other to be the person you met so long ago and that creates tension. Taking it back to simpler times is seeming to allow us to grow together. So far. could be wrong but for now the hikes and her behind are fun

dunno where your at but im in a very suburban area. Full of new houses and less and less wilderness. Although if you look hard enough, you can always find places to play. Im in an out of all sorts of spots, even a 100 sq yr patch is fun enough for me to whittle and practice foraging and fire making. Some people dont even care if its posted property as long as you aint hunting. Drive a little, knock on a few doors and you may just find yourself a willing land owner that will let you romp around to your hearts content. I have a few spots that wont let me hunt, but will let me hike and a few that let me hunt if i catch em on the right day

Not a bad idea at all. I'll have to go hunting around here for some out of the way places. I got a new BK-16 that needs a workout.

Great pics all, and the etching on the knife looks fantastic, but this one stands out to me as a quintessential "Childhood" picture. That sense of excitement and curiosity... Ah, to be little again

3 coats of blue on the flats, no vaseline (but I'd still do just the edge) and dunk it on a 50 degree angle for an hour. The reaction will work its way up and give that run effect
