My BK2 so ugly, it's pretty.

forcing a patina isn't as much fun letting a patina set in by using it. good work.

nothing beats the stories from a natural patina

So true.
I've tried plenty of forced patinas.
I was never really happy with any of them.
The natural patina on my BK5 however, is a thing of beauty!

You're BK2 looks awesome! The personalized, ever changing patina. Gorgeous...

Wait! I thought a knife would just rust if stripped. I like the idea of stripping my Beckers but forcing a patina on them

Nope they dont rust easily. Really all you have to do is wipe it off if it gets wet.

Nathan,
Thank you sir.

Magus,
Thank you very much. I love that sheath. I have used it pretty rigorously and in some rough weather. Very sturdy and attractive.

JerryJ,
Agreed. In a couple months I'll post up more pics to see if it's gotten better or worse. Already made dinner with it again last night.

SRWeldon,
I think as long as you leave a nice little wipe of oil on the blade it won't rust like Psyop said.

We need a "Your BK-2 is so fat..." thread in the vein of "Your mama's so fat..."

Guyon,
Hahahaha, yes!!! Do it. Do it.

Alex,
Thank you, not for sale though. We're connected at the hip, well my hip at least.

lobo9er,
Missed your comment before. Thank you very much.
