My Bowie family's handles checkered by Bawanna, the Master

That magnified picture still blows my mind. It just doesn't look possible. Kind of ties the eye in knots trying to figure it out.
 
yep, that sure is a classic image ndog. I love the pattern of it, and how it just seems to flow. I spent a long time looking at it when you first shared it :D even now I can sort of get lost following the pattern.

My memory just kicked in briefly and I recall that the Double Diamond description was for the large diamonds around each grip screw, not a checkering pattern such as skip line etc. I have seen Double Diamond grips done with skip line before, I think I even have a set of rubber Hogues or something with that pattern.
