My Brother was found dead 4/23/2009

I am so very sorry for your loss, but hang in there. Your patience will make the final justice that much better. Times like these are best spent with family and friends. You and yours are in our prayers.

The police, would give us no information and we were told that for a Baker Act case (suspected suicide or murder) that information was given to no one, not even family. By the time a court order was handed down, they had "misplaced" the evidence.

I wanted to do something extremely violent and deeply pornographic with those responsible.

My uncle Phil was murdered too, (we suspect) in 1999.
Same story as you guys, the pigs would not help at all. Then again, the cops in SA are ALOT worse than other places.

We all suspect an off duty cop that did it, because Uncle Phil and this turd were not mates. In fact, Phil used to humiliate this guy from time to time by talking openly at our local bar, about his solicitation of young girls in the township.

My cousin and I even planned our reaction but my Dad heard us talking about it and brought us up short real fast.

sigh. My condolances are all I can offer, as not familiar with US laws.

I could say what i would do if I didnt have a wife and child, but I cant be that forthcoming on a civilised forum
 
It took over a year for us to be able to see my Sister In Law's autupsy. Then they just let anyone with any responsiblility for her death go. The hit and run driver got a $500 fine and a suspended liscence. She was driving on a suspended license when she hit my SIL and took off. There is no justice.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're going to have to suffer through this. My condolescences to you and your family.

I know you have tried the FBI and you said they arent interested and I do not know how determined you were, but I believe that I would contact them again and speak to someone different. You may want to ask to speak to a supervisor and continue to work your way up. A good thing to try may be, thank you for your help and I understand that there is not anything you can do but could I speak to your supervisor. Again this is difficult to help without knowing specifics of what you were told. This may or may not help but possibly worth a try. Good luck and I hope this helps. I'm sorry for your loss.
