My Buck 112 circa 1979

Some of you like myself have some nice knives which you adore. Tonight I polished, lubed and sharpened a knife I purchased in 1979 when I was a bag boy working at Safeway. It may not be as expensive etc. as some of my knives, but it holds a special place in my knife heart.

Buck's 112 three dots were generally thought to be 1980 mfg.. It received a full hollow grind. But I noticed your's is only close. It has a blade of 440C and the slabs are solid macassar ebony. Still, a up grade knife for it's era. DM
