My buddy and me+ pictures of some of my knives

Very nice introduction

Your last pic just reminded me that I've neglected to buy my cat a knife, I'll have to rectify that soon ;):D

Thanks,boys!
The rifle is an air rifle - CZ Slavia 631.A spring gun in .177.Pretty good up to 30-35 meters.
It has seen a lot of abuse from me - for two and a half years it has around 17,500 shots :)

I got a Slavia when I was 11, That was 19 years ago, I just did a tune job on it, replaced the spring ,weight the piston made, a new spring guide, ect and now the sucker is just smoking, I just happen to carry a soilder too

If I had to guess I would have to say that it has close to 350 000 give or take,(50 shots per day x 6935, 19 years worth of days)

Not saying I have shot 50 shots a day but some days I would empty 500 pellet tins, for a while I was shooting 250 shots per week like clock work,

anyway good looking stuff, you have good taste:D

Thank you very much!I've been reading the forum for a long time, but did't write much.I should be more active now and maybe get some payed membership, because the search engine is so usefull. It's a great site!So much to read about :)
Our bulgarian forum is much smaller and in the W&SS i can found the answers of almost any of my questions.
Sorry if my English is not very good...

Don't sweat it man, seems like you have a better grasp on English than the majority of Americans.

Welcome aboard! Its a great place, stick around.

Love the cat picture.

Thanks all!I'm very happy, that you're all such great dudes! :)
How popular are the slavias over there?

I find mine to be fantastic.

I can say, that before some 20-30 years the slavias have been the most popular air rifles here. Now they offer the best quality for the price in the bulgarian market. But most of the people now are wanting more powerful airguns and are getting turkish and chinise guns, who reaaly sux. They're no match for the Slavia.
Actually I'm fully satisfied with the power of these little guns.I've got mine as a gift from my father for Cristmas,a couple of years ago.I also have a RWS Diana 35 model,a 41 years old airgun, which is pretty rare here and a Record air pistol(again made in Germany-actually in West Germany,so he probably is atleast some 20 years old now) , but the Slavia is my favourite.:)

There was something,i have read, about some gay, taht has killed a raging couguar with his trusty old Buck 110.The topic was something like Buck 110 - Couguar - 1:0.
That has pretty much inspired me to take the picture with the cat :) Now it's - Pet Cougar - Buck 110 - 1:0 :D

Welcome to the Forum, my friend! I like your selection of knives...useful in the field!

That's my pal -a 3 year and nine months old german shepherd, named Rex.He really enjoys the outdoors.

Anyone wearing a Manowar shirt can't be all bad! ::thumbup:

Btw, I just visited Bulgaria a couple of weeks ago. Had a really good time hiking on the mountains and drinking fine Bulgarian beers... especially Shumensko became my favourite :)

Anyway, nice pics!

Heavy Metal forever,bro!!! :)
Shumensko is one of the finest bulgarian beers.Have you tried Zagorka or Ariana ?They're both made in my home town - Stara Zagora.Where were you hiking? In which mountains?
Stara Planina,Rila,Rhodopi,Sredna Gora ?Have you tried the traditional drink - Rakia - it's something like vodka, but it's made from grape :)

"One more beer and heavy metal, and I'll be just fine!"

Heh, all those brands ring a bell. Especially Zagorka seemed really popular, and was sold almost everywhere. And yes, I also drank Rakia :)

Our "base camp" was near Pazardzhik, but we drove around the country, all the way to the black sea. If I remember correctly, we drove really close to Stara Zagora too :)

We also visited Velingrad, and climbed up the mountains near by to see a beautifil speleothem. We also visited an ancient tracian temple, but I can't recall what the mountains were called...

Here's a couple of pics;

Tanks,mymindisamob!
attej - semms you had a great time :)
Yep-Zagorka is maybe the most popular beer here.
There are some good hiking places here and the country is small,so the travelling isn't much of a problem :)

Nice pics...dog looks like it just had some fun:D I have been thinking about getting one of those mora 2000's but man they are pricey;).

Well damn, went trough some of the pics we took there, and found some solid evidence that I did, indeed, drank some Zagorka while there :)

One day we drove ~400 km near Sunny Beach, and found a cheap half-done hotel that agreed to take us in, even though they were not officially open. After a hard day, we naturally relaxed a bit. This pic was taken the morning after, we're bout to check out, and I apparently have a nice bottle of hang-over medicine in my hand :D

I had a friend who was really into his ancestry. He also was into Asatru and wore a necklace with the hammer of Thor. I learned a lot from him, especially since he was pretty much a worlock.
