My Busse is Bigger Than Yours...

Very nice! I probably will not be able to resist one now. I agree that a lanyard hole on a sword that long seems a little silly. But at least it adds hanging options and it aids retrieval when carrying it concealed inside the pants.

Nugget cook... that's awesome.

It's not a deal breaker by any means. I don't mind the lanyard hole being there, it's the shape around it that causes the gripping issue for me. I don't claim to be a Japanese sword expert or a Whole Foods Samurai, but if you hold a katana as history intended, it may bother you.

I need to check with Lexi to see if I did in fact keep the other Butaniku on order. I am going to punch myself if I cancelled it. If I get the other one, I promise to use it, maybe even some traditional style cutting with tatami mats. It will be hilarious to watch :)

I want mine sooooooo bad.

Great pics and thank you for sharing :)

I can kick my self yet again for not getting one. That is a beautiful piece of INFI!!!

I Strongly suspect, that to get what you expect from this Sword, that you will need to remove the coating, it is just there to protect from Rust and works like Brakes in any real cutting/slicing, I know that this is true with the AK's, the Basics and the Straight Battle Mistress's

I don't want to take from your awesome sword, I saw them at Blade and I loved it...I just couldn't refuse a straight line like you handed me :)

I was going too....But I decided not to come to Blade this year..I think I'll head out to New Mexico that weekend and see if I can shoot a pig with my thermal imager.

Hahahaha, my thread title was begging for some scrutiny, I expected more actually. I hope you get yourself a nice fat pig or two :)
