My Buying Experience with Will Moon Knives

ABSOLUTELY PROFESSIONAL AND SATISFIED!

I bought a knife from Will Moon's website. When it arrived i realized it wasn't for me....so I emailed Will and told him I would be returning the knife. He was absolutely pleasant, professional, and apologetic. I sent the knife back and he refunded me the money the day he received it. He answered every email promptly, and never once questioned why I was returning it.

I can totally recommend trying one of his knives, knowing how good his return policy is, and how he himself treated me. His customer service was A1, and I thank him for making a difficult situation easy and friendly.

What made you decide to return it?? Seems like the knives are really nice looking!

After all he's pulled here, it will take way more than one good buying experience to convince me that he's changing his ways, that's for sure.

I recently used Will for a custom regrind and found his workmanship and attention to detail beyond approach. He went above and beyond making sure my regrind was exactly what i wanted. I felt we connected on both a professional and personal level and would definitely use him again. I've read reviews from the past and thats exactly what it was, the past. They say "with age comes wisdom" and he has become much wiser. Dont shun him for his past transgressions everyone deserves a shot at redemption.

Just curious; has Will made everyone whole? It seems to me that as of a last year there were more than a few people that had been ripped off by him. I am not just trying to stir the pot here, but think that a big part of "redemption" is owning your mistakes and making restitution. Without that, despite treating current customers well, he is still a crook. YMMV.
 
Hey guys....No conspiracy going on here....I've heard a few things about Will, never read anything......I don't belong to any social media, don't know the knife maker, didn't coordinate this with anyone. Believe me I was ready to post just the opposite at the drop of a hat! So just putting it out there.....Definitely share the negative as that is fair, but no reason to question my motives......I am an Army veteran, I understand Integrity and honor. Feel free to contact me if you want to hear it directly from me.

Hey man I'm sure people aren't trying to offend ya or say you're dishonest but you have to understand moon has a very very bad image here he took a lot of people's money. And 3 people are here singing him praise just up and outta the blue you can see where people would be careful.

What gets me, and the reason I would NEVER give this shill a dime, is he constantly denies any past screw ups. He ALWAYS claims BS in regards to ALL those pesky people he robbed from. Claims he was piled on by those meanies on the forums.
The only way someone can start off with a clean slate, after horrendously ripping people off, is to OWN that shit. Suck it up and sincerely apologize. Square away the people still waiting for knives & money and stay the straight and narrow.
Mr Moonie refuses to acknowledge he screwed up and claims the people complaining are full of it.
This is not a good sign for his future......he'll do it again.

Funny. Someone on FB asked if he could be trusted in a deal a while back and I was the only one who pointed to the issues he's had here and the JD. Will took it better than his Fanbois for sure. Thing of it was is I told some of the people who had the biggest problems with him about it and not one said one word so I looked like I was the only one who knew about anything shady happening. If they don't care then neither do I, I had no dog in the fight..
 
Hello all, this is Will.

I know the mods will ban this account as soon as I post this and I will likely have to create a new account for each subsequent post. I'm not sure why they don't want to give me a voice to address concerns, but it is thus. I would encourage them to allow me to keep this account open so that I can continue to respond in the event that we need to communicate, afterall it would not be very fair to be silenced when accused of something so horrible.

As far as I know, I don't have any orders outstanding that I'm not currently working on and to the best of my knowledge I'm not aware of anyone I owe money to. If that's not the case and I owe you a knife, PLEASE contact me and I'll get you squared away before I do anything else. I've been trying to work in good faith for years against what I feel is an unfair tide of naysayers to change attitudes about me. Yes, I've made some mistakes in my youth, but I've made substantive changes in my business to eliminate wait times, I've made myself much more open on email, phone and IM and now that I've graduated college I'm able to devote myself full time to my business rather than running it in my spare time after school. I want you to give me a second chance because I know I'm a more mature, more experienced, more capable, more open, honest and diligent maker.

It bothers me to the core to think that there may be outstanding work or debts that I'm unaware of. If you have a genuine concern or question, or I owe you any debt, or you have outstanding work with my shop, please let me know. Again, to the best of my knowledge I do not know of anyone who is waiting on builds, but in honesty I've been known to make mistakes and I'm somewhat disorganized. I'd certainly like the opportunity to change your minds about me, I take my work very seriously and I'm grateful and blessed to have had success in this business and will work hard and diligently to correct any issues that may have arisen in the past so we can all put it in the past and move forward.

That being said, just so we're clear, I didn't ask for the OP to post anything, he sent me a link via email after he did. I thanked him politely for posting it, but it was never expected or necessary.
