When I first dicovered the knives made by Jeremy here on BladeForums.com I was immediately intrigued.

I wanted to order a Camp Blood for some time, but when I saw the sawback variant with fighter nose he had made, I knew I wanted one.

I contacted Jeremy, one great guy by the way, and we discussed the options and posibilities.

I wanted a thick blade with sawback and a plain Camp nose. I also thought it should have a red handle of sorts to honor its name

Jeremy told me about some special rare Burgundy Micarta he knew of and that was it.

The idea of the Camp Blood à la Chibbi was born.

Jeremy did an excellent job of turning the idea into a living piece of art

Without further ado, here she is

I can confirm that Jeremy's knives are razor-sharp ! She cuts paper and armhair like a hot knife through butter !

Thanks Big J.... YOU THE MAN !!!!!

ps: the black spots near the sawback aren't flaws in the finish of the blade, but tiny slivers of the kydex sheath, I think. Just hard to clean with that row of sharp teeth.

Very Nice Chibbi! Thanks for sharing the great pics.

Enjoy Brother

Some initial specs.:

Blade: .340 A-2 Tool Steel
Handle: Burgundy Micarta
OAL: 13 inch
Blade Length: 7 3/8 inch

That really is a stunning piece. One of my favorites outside of the Horton necker's I've seen so far. Really good look'n steel! I didn't realize these were full convex. Very, very impressive stuff

Very nice blade you got there, any chance we'll see some actions shots soon?

Am I in the majority when I say that all Horton Blades should be used to no use them would be a waste?

The wife asked me to clean out her small front garden-thingy, so I finally had an excuse to take out my Horton for some action... a bit of an overkill I admit :)

Those branches were no match for this chopper... one chop and even the underlaying bit was split...
