Does anyone have similar taste? If so, have you tried the Hinderer HalfTrack Wharnie? I think that's where I'm going next, but would like to hear feedback from others.

Nice collection! I had a HalfTrack and really liked it, but the amount of pocket real estate it took up for trying to be a smaller knife was a deal breaker for me. Too many angles made it hard to get my hand past it. My Eklipses and XM-18’s were much more pocket friendly IMO. Especially with Micarta scales on them.

As far as what’s next; I have a Rask incoming so that’s where my mind is at.

You have very similar taste to mine. I'd say you're missing at least one bigger knife and the CRK Umnumzaan is basically the only logical choice from here. Also, an Oz Roosevelt would look at home here. And another slightly cheaper knife I like that balances out my collection is the TRM neutron with titanium scales.

I tried the Umnumzaan (twice) and the large Inkosi but both are a little too big. I have been thinking of trying the Umnumzaan again.

I love the Oz, but not sure that I'm ready to crack that $1K+ price barrier.

I think I'd like the TRM. Not pictured is my "cheaper" Spyderco Delica.

The Zaan has a super stiff break in period. Takes about 100+ openings before it becomes smooth. Even then the detent is quite strong. I love mine, but geez does it make you work for it.

Oz’s are $700 for the base price, which appears to be on par or cheaper than a few of these. Hard to get at the moment, but they’ll be doing weekly lottos again starting this week. I got one a while ago, but sold it to cover some repairs. Hoping to grab another one soon though.

I do like the Oz and some of the Simeon's. I just haven't broken that $1K+ barrier yet.
No offense intended to the hardcore knife enthusiast but if I spend $1k on something to carry, it will go bang multiple times. That is just me

Rockstead Hizen, maybe a Strider PT?

How about a higher end OTF?

RLB0414 RLB0414 I concur. Heck, I've yet to hit the $1k mark on a handgun, though with the mods my Sig P365 SAS is certainly over that.

nice collection , I never tried the halftrack mostly because I tend to like hinderer xm-18s just a bit more and CRKs are always on my list:)
