My Carry Rotation - What's Next?

Try a Curtiss f3 medium. I sold all my Hinderers after carrying a F3 Large for about a year. They have incredible action, they actually cut, they are backed by a maker who you can actually speak to as well.

Some eye candy

Chris Reeve 21 is nice - plenty of time tested info
Les George is nice - extremely underrated
Laconico makes incredible knives

I found a Battle Black Halftrack Wharnie. I love the look and the action, but man is this thing CHUNKY! We'll see if it's a keeper.

Very nice, luethge luethge - I've always liked the Les George models and would love to find an ESV.

Nice collection! I had a HalfTrack and really liked it, but the amount of pocket real estate it took up for trying to be a smaller knife was a deal breaker for me. Too many angles made it hard to get my hand past it. My Eklipses and XM-18’s were much more pocket friendly IMO. Especially with Micarta scales on them.

As far as what’s next; I have a Rask incoming so that’s where my mind is at.
You were spot on. Cool wharnie blade with great action and ergos, but too blocky for the pocket. Received today and shipping to new owner tomorrow.

I have been called thrifty. I personally can't see spending that amount of money on a knife. A hard core knife enthusiast probably feels the same about spending that amount on a gun.

My current limit on knives is $550. My limit on guns was $1500. Have previously reached both limits but do not want to exceed them.

Still actively buying knives but haven't both a new gun in a long, long time and don't need/expect to buy another for the rest of my life.

Knives, not so much. Still a few of those I want to buy but my buy rate has dropped substantially in the past 6 months.

That’s nice! I have the UF2 and love it, but definitely not an EDC.

I have a smaller Williams/Lionsteel OZM 001 EDC fixed blade, but my State’s laws are sketchy.

Nice looking knife. The 6" blade is too long for me to EDC as well. My DEK1 has a 4.5" blade. It is perfect for me using my OWB canted leather pancake sheaths.

RLB0414 RLB0414 I concur. Heck, I've yet to hit the $1k mark on a handgun, though with the mods my Sig P365 SAS is certainly over that.

I have a couple hunting pistols that too that mark but that includes all the mods. Only 1 topped that mark out the door. Was over by $10 by the time sales tax was tossed in.

I have about $1400 in my Glock 21. That doesn't include labor since I did everything.

Must be a tricked out 21.

Must be a tricked out 21.

Just basic stuff really. I bought her brand new and then added Meprolight tritium adjustable target night sights, SS match grade threaded barrel, adjustable tip carbon steel guide tube, titanium striker & safety plunger, White Lightning trigger. I think that's all I've put into her. She's a tack driver.

Sounds awesome.

Sounds awesome.

I haven't shot her much the past couple of years, but she has never failed to fire no matter what ammo I have used. A lot of people don't like the Gen 3, but I love it. And since she is a SF model the magazine release is ambidextrous.
