My Civilian arrived

The brown truck finally pulled up to my house. This is a mean knife and my first Spyderco, it even came with a zipper pouch :) . I’m going to heed the warnings I’ve read about this knife, I don’t want to get bit ;)

My next Spyderco is on order, but I’m still waiting for that one :(
 
I have had one since 1993. It is a beauty. It is for self defense. They used to sell them in knife stores at the mall. I bought mine for a very good price, from a gun shop. He had a guy who sold spydercos on the side, at good prices.
 
Very nice score. I have one of the old aluminum ones; I think I will soon need to upgrade.

The pharmacy sent a small supply of Band-Aids along with the knife but I really don’t want to use them :)
 
Great and classic knife. I always wanted a serrated civvie but went with a Police so I could use it for more than SD.
 
The Civilian is one of my favorite Spidies, I have 3. Invest in James Keating's training vidio and learn what a good friend the Civilian can be in a pinch.
