When they won't all fit on your belt at once, then it is time to stop buying...
You have some time to go before this happens.

Of course, you *could* show true dedication and do as some of us have. Take advantage of middle age spread and buy longer belts! :D

You could also hang them from a baldric when they won't fit on your belt anymore.

Wyatt, I hate to make a bad thing worse, but many of HI's finest, must-have blades are not listed among those in your possession.

What Nasty said is true, but bear in mind you'll never get a falcata made by Sanu, there just not around any more...

BAS- look for a new Kharka-made. WWII after you decide 16.5 vs. 18".

M43- Muahahahahahah! Never let anyone know about the M43!

JKM's are the best pocketknives, I have 4 :D

YCS? Read about these in the threadsearch.

ytrep, you're one of the folks i saw break in and give up and just submit to this khukri madness :)When i first stumbled upon this forum(before i even registered) i thought to myself, damn those are some ugly nfunctional things ... but since then i think i'm beginning to break as well. I live across the big pond (ungodly high import duties and other restritions is our name, oh yeah) and yet i'm pondering a purpose of one of those things more and more. Price/poun ratio is unbeatable, no argues about that but i think i'm getting ifected with the khukri-liking virus too, the shape is growing onto me, just can't decide which model to get. Those actions always feature 2-3 models i'd really like [in my urban jungle],can;'t really justify the purchase but at that price ... damn ... is that how you got hooked up ?

Absolutely! Where else can you find hand-made, forged & hammered, differentially hardened knives and choppers at such (sorry, but it's true) ridiculously low prices? Let alone...they are forged in a hole in the dirt floor with *minimum* equipment...almost a bronze age operation! Wow!

All - True...there are too many unique models to choose from. I only spouted off a few! I apologize to the kamis! :footinmou

Arty - I've been looking for someone to make a baldric for me to use with several of my HI's. I'd simply make it myself, but as soon as I post a pic, I know I'd get hounded to make some for others and I simply don't have time. :(

Ad Astra - There is always the used market to explore! ;)

That's the embarassing part for me - literally. I live in "civilized" Yeuhh-rope, i don't even get to whack the buches decently over here .... but i'm getting drawn more and more to these oddly-shaped-beasts, it feels so unnaturaly curved and yet in all thye clips i've seen so far it's damn perfectly suited for any hard core job. I'm not that much a sucker for the "personal touch" (althugh i most definitely would subscribe to a "brand name" khuk mantra kami name] if i was to buy one ... when i finally give in) but it's just like boozne, i know i don't need it and yet i'm drawn to it all the time, unable to resist  I think i'm close to my breaking point - one of those 15-17" AKs seems to darn adorable (and affordable !!!), regardless of the fac that i'm unlikely to get any serious use out od it, overe here in the olde Yeuhh-rope :grumpy:

Believe me! The hand touch will.....what's the word.....grow on you......or is it the karma attached to each blade before it's sent across the pond......or is it the fact that these blades actually have personality and find their rightful owner.......It's just a matter of time before you too have the virus. It's killing me that i have to look and can't buy :grumpy: .....although I have been considering selling the house and moving out into the country so I will again have much use for my "toys" :D . And the $$ to have, too. :footinmou

hehehe...You'd be amazed at the things I've found that needed cutting!

Man ... pretty much the only thing holding me back is he horror story of "overquenched" blade that cracked - if i was to import one of those beats i'd be going through a serious ordeal with the cutoms clerks (who instead of botherng with big caliber criminals rather focus on common folks like me - then again, what's that $250.000 worth of heroin import compared to my $50+ khuk ? :grumpy: friggin trash :( :barf: ) so irealy wouldn't want to go through one of those "test it out and see, if it's defective just return it for replacement" procedures. I'd like the good stuff in first go :D Im afraid to address uncle Bill, can anybody else tell me if that is doable before i finally give in ? ( really cannot afford to go through replacement process, thanks to our "great" customs officials that'd be identical to throwing money away, literally) Those "unconditional warantee" stories sounds fine ... as long as the buyer lives in a "normal" country :grumpy:
