My Collection of 8OT' s

I would say the Walden 8 OT with the black handles, was made long before the 1967-68 Buck 301 knife shown below.The first "Schrade - Buck" was made in 1966.

The blade on the Black handled 8 OT is a very early 8 OT blade [1961-63 ?]
This 1961 Bone handled Old Timer 8 OT, has the same blade.

Some good looking knives guys. I had been thinking about getting rid of an 80T and a buck 301 I had recently acquired but this thread has given me second thoughts.
 
A knife collection is like a garden. We each decide what to grow, how to arrange them and when to trim. Per Chance Gardner (Being There 1979)- "As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again. Yes! There will be growth in the spring!"
 
i like the growing part just haven't figured out how to trim as of yet. even though i have several repeats.
