Amen.... But Emersons, Busses, and ZTs are like Lays potato chips. You can't have just one! He will find that out I'm sure.
 
I am in a similar place, recently re-igniting a love affair with knives and starting up a collection of favorites. I'm hoping that soon that the pace of new things to discover (and buy) will slow down. But not today - I was completely unaware of the damascus Kershaws until I saw your post. Had to order a Shallot for myself. I hope my blade looks cool.

If you like the CQC-8 , you might want to consider the Horseman, it's like a mini 8.



Also the BM Bone Collector. It's discontinued but you can still find them. I think this one will only get more expensive once the supply dries up
