My Computer got INFI-ected !!!!

To all the "wow look at the edge damage!!!" comments;.... are you guys being serious ???!!!

Thanks for adding that much needed rant. As soon as I saw those first pictures, I was expecting the same edge-related nonsense.

I've chopped through barbed wire with my SH-E and it did leave a little ding, it is still there after one quick re-sharpening. Did I expect any less? If I had tried that with my Camillus USMC re-make I'm sure it would have suffered more damage. By the time the nick from the barbed wire gets out I'll have a few other dings added anyway. Dave, send that computer to my sons, I bet that they think they can fix it, make it even faster!!!

While I agree the edge damage is fantastic, there is no way ANY of that computer is 3/8" thick steel.

Think of how heavy a computer box would be if it were made of 1/4" steel. Sure, it's folded over and double-thick, but I'm betting it's 1/8th max. (I'd have to mic my computer box to find out.)

THAT said, terrific damage to yet another poor defenseless piece of hardware, David. Keep it coming!

Hope all of this makes sense and I do not come off as too much of an A-hole, but really all the post lately I have seen, of

" I chopped a brick/rock/hard oak/or anything else with my busse & although it did not break it, the edge got damaged, so lets take macro pics of the tiny edge damage & gripe & complain about it, because even though Jerry will make it right, I have to complain because I used my knife & it is not new any more"

have kind of wore thin.

Yeah, anyone can slap a knife around a bit, but you want to make it scream and come back wanting more. Got any more pix ? :D

I felt like doing that to one of my bakery printers last week. I really enjoyed the pics, thank you!

What edge damage?

When you said you were going to use it you weren't joking!

That was fun. Very cool throwing that thing into the side of the computer and seeing it stick.

i guess i did sound a bit like chicken little("the edge is failing, the edge is failing!!!).....

anyways, i'm glad someone was willing to take their blade to its limits as i now know what the limits are without having to use my blade......

May have more pics tomorrow :D

Fixed (kind of) edge

and the actual thickness of the corners on the PC that were chopped

Did you notice your shoe lace was untied?

I like the memorabilia David, signed, dated....made me laugh... :)

I hope its going above the bar man!
