As for the first question... I would not want any knife with a black blade myself, and especially not with orange. Thats just me though.

As for the second question...Spyderco mostly does the Sprint runs and their dealers do the exclusives.



You would need to be one of their dealers. A bunch of us here on BF can't decide we want a certain knife and order it.

I'll be the contrarian here. How about they stop all the special runs for a bit and fill the pipeline with normal user PM2's for those of us who just want to use one for EDC? I'm so tired of the drama surrounding all these back orders and scheduled deliveries and horribly overpriced aftermarket flippers that other than my forum Natives I've been buying only traditionals.
 
If it has the Bladeforums name on it or referenced as such, Spark should be consulted before hand. Seeing as he owns the forums and the name. ;)

It's an orange and black pm2, add another one to the cart.
It's a spyderco, by default that adds a 4th one.
Looks like I'll be getting four and wondering why I have no money for three weeks because I went $800 in the negative. Something like this would be over 200 for sure with the steels you guys are talking about and plus it'd be a sprint/exclusive knife and with the demand for the knife, spyderco could charge 500 for it and they'd all still sell I bet.

The shoppe that sells cutlery has something very similar coming out:

Not a fan of orange. I'm even passing on the hap40 cuz I don't like orange handles....and black blades. But awesome concept and that you made the image...kudos. That being said, I am a sucker for s90v and s110, so that may be a reason for me to walk to the factory and play with one.

Why would you pass on a potentially phenomenal steel because of a color?
Easy to swap that handle! :)
