Well,

My discovery that all the Pivot Screws are the same size got my evil imagination wandering: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1152566-A-tale-of-three-pivots-Dispelling-some-myths-about-CRK-folders-(maybe). Just for 'the goof of it' I present these slip joint abominations of CRK......the purists must not read further! :D.

Anyways....I actually assembled these knives and they all kinda work, though not that well. Mostly stop-pin issues! ;).

First up: The Umnumicarta 21:

Next Up: The Sebenza 25.1 Micarta (I know.....way better than that 25 Micarta we saw previously ;) )

Next Up: The Umnumfive (ouch!....that blade is proud of the handle when closed)

And finally, The Ergozaan This is a single-sided mock-up. I couldn't actually make it work as the thumb lugs hit the slabs.....for show only.

If nothing else, I hope I've brought some humour to the mix, and maybe given everyone some ideas to muse over

This is awesome, should be required reading in all schools, you are the master. I would buy the UM/21 today ! Killer style.

Frankenstein is the right word... but also Frankenstein has his fashion:D

Kidcongo how do you do it!! I love all of them. So hard to make a decision on which one I like best. Please send them to me (I PM my address) and I will pick out the one I want pay you and send the rest back. :-) Thanks for taking the time to do this it is for sure in my top 10 threads.

Ergozaan is right up my ally! With the single slab and everything! Love how light and slim that baby is

The tactical 21 is perfect in my option, love the size and shape of the handle and when mated to the 21 blade, perfect.

I do like that Umnumzaan/25 blade. That has the best lines of the bunch, IMO.

I'll have to post up my bowie Umnumzaan some time....;)

I think the Umnumzaan blade in the 25 works well, they both have their own curves.

This. Makes me realize all the more how much I dislike the finger grooves.

I am glad everyone enjoyed this. I gotta say, when I assembled the 25.1 Micarta, it felt "right" immediately. That's the knife I would have if any of these were true.

Two more models to consider. And after doing these two, bravo to Kidcongo for doing all that he did. I know now his took some time.
First up is the (as I call it) The ZaanBG-42

And next is the UmnumRegular:

Those are great! Love the ZaanBG42

This thread does not leave much to the imagination! Good work men!

Hey guys, new to this CRK sub forum.

Has anyone ever taken a left and right hand CRK (any model) and used the presentation side scales off both to make a slip joint with solid slabs on each side? (Tho the resulting two lock-side scales would be pretty useless).
