Well,
My discovery that all the Pivot Screws are the same size got my evil imagination wandering: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1152566-A-tale-of-three-pivots-Dispelling-some-myths-about-CRK-folders-(maybe). Just for 'the goof of it' I present these slip joint abominations of CRK......the purists must not read further!
.
Anyways....I actually assembled these knives and they all kinda work, though not that well. Mostly stop-pin issues!
.
First up: The Umnumicarta 21:
Next Up: The Sebenza 25.1 Micarta (I know.....way better than that 25 Micarta we saw previously
)
Next Up: The Tactical 21
Next Up: The Umnumfive (ouch!....that blade is proud of the handle when closed)
And finally, The Ergozaan This is a single-sided mock-up. I couldn't actually make it work as the thumb lugs hit the slabs.....for show only.
If nothing else, I hope I've brought some humour to the mix, and maybe given everyone some ideas to muse over
