I just thought i would post up a couple of pics of my EDC gear for the past few weeks.

i just picked up the tube of crazy glue after running out, and i just switched out my good old opinel #7 for the buck stockman that i was gifted at christmas. i switched knives because the opinel doesn't like me when i am sweaty or when it is hot and humid outside, as it so often is around here in the summer. the buck is good and sharp after a regrind to flat with convex edges on all the blades.

the krazy glue is my med kit, i use it on all sorts of things like cuts and scrapes as well as abrasions and its great for fixing things.

the chapstick, paracord and lighter are pretty much self-evident, for protecting my lips and making fire and tying things...

when i have a bag of any kind with me, i also have a roll of cloth medical tape, with my superglue it makes for a very complete med kit for everyday cuts and scrapes, as well as some deeper stuff if you aren't afraid of infection  ;) This combo is also my repair kit, good for fixing almost everything.

this stuff all comes with me into the woods as well, in addition to a pack or a belt kit of some sort.

What is your EDC gear? i figure this thread might be a bit different from the others that are posted in other subforums, as we have a bunch of woods-nuts around here, not so much gear nuts necessarily...

Heres what I have daily.

fonly, looks like a well rounded set

riley, if go you for the Case you will probably be happy. i don't really like hollow grinds and tend to stay away from Case because of that, but i have reground them into nearly-flat-grinds too. good quality blades.

For me it is pretty basic, at least looking at the items on my person for EDC.

Scibeer Custom Alox Woodsman SAK
SwissBianco Custom Alox Lumberjack SAK
Wallet
Keys with light
moneyclip/cash
Gerber Clutch
Victorinox Officers Watch

I have a kit that is fully loaded within a foot or two of me at all times with water, FAK, etc, but the above is my on person items. We arent allowed to wear sheaths of any sort at work, so my Larger items (Trekker SAK, Vic Spirit MT, etc) have to stay in my EDC bag.
