So I've had a knife design in my head for some time now and recently began speaking to Robert Carpenter at Battle Creek Knives about bringing this design to life. I gave him the design and specifics that I wanted as being a blade design simular to a Cold Steel Trail Master, a simular profile to an ESEE Junglas but the grip of a Becker. I wanted it 1/4 thick, full flat grind and 5160 steel. Well, she arrived this week and I couldn't be happier. Overall length is 16 3/4" with a blade length of 11". Weight is just under 24 ounces and she feel amazing in hand. Here she is setting with a Trail Master and a Camillus BK9. Makes them both seem so little ;)

For anyone looking for a custom blade, I strongly recomment Robert Carpenter at Battle Creek Knives. Great customer service, a fair price and an amazing finished product just as I wanted. Now its time for me to get to work and make some custom pants for her

That's a great looking blade! Now I really can't wait for my new chopper. Hope it gets here before Christmas...

It kinda makes the other blades feel inadequate!! Thanks for the pics I was just wondering how a BK9 would compare to my Trailmaster.

I love the idea of becker handles on a custom blade. I still have yet to find another handle/grip I like better than my beckers.
