My Custom Becker/TrailMaster/Junglas Chopper, What ya think?

Damn, but that is beautimus. Whats a ballpark figure on a blade like that run? I have this urge lately for a supersized machax....

I love the idea of becker handles on a custom blade. I still have yet to find another handle/grip I like better than my beckers.

My sentiments exactly. I've handled them all it seems and the becker grips are by far my favorite.

+1 on the grips.

There are alot of knives that I like, but if they were full tang like a Becker and had Becker grips I would be in love.
Ethan sure does know what hes doing.
If I get anything custom made, it will definitely have a full tang and be made to accept Becker style micarta.
I am still jonesing for the Tweeners ..lol

UCPOPO,

thank you sir for the kind words and I'm ecstatic you like the knife, it was great working with you and a great project all in all..

Not to be biased but as I told Dusty while it was in the finishing stage, this thing just "feels" right in the hand, no unyielding behavior as a big knife will have, I've had many large khukuri 1/4" machetes and IMO this blows them away, within its scale..

I have a new line of machetes called the "MANchete" all of which are full 1/8" 1095, and to be honest one of these in the line up is a bushMAN at 16" blade and its awful to swing feels 10x heavier and the balance is horrible I've tried to tweek it here and there and it still doesn't feel right so I will discontinue that one for sure, however where my Golok13 MANchete is perfection IMO..

I bring these up to point out, even the 13" chete doesn't feel "right" like this knife does... I have a "Chopaholic" an inch shorter with more of radius handle and it even feels awkward in comparison, so I'm on board with 'nothing beats a Becker handle'..

I love them, and came from esee lineup to these and must say it was the handle that swayed my opinion.......

ETA: Thanks everyone for the kind words I appreciate it... Its one thing to build a knife and I've found out a whole other animal building a knife around someone else handle :)
I want one too, maybe someday when things slow down I can make one for me:D

And not for nothing, but that is one bad ass blade.
