My Custom Burger LEXK Plus Arrived!

First and foremost, Trevor Burger is outstanding to work. Great communication and very true to the quoted 8 week build window.

I went with the LEXK Plus platform, but requested the addition of Ti Bolsters, and OD Green Canvas Micarta Scales. The standard LEXK Plus comes with a satin brushed spear point blade in N690. I requested the blade profile on his newest framelock model in M390.

I couldn't be happier. The size is slightly larger than a small Sebenza with a nice, modern wharncliffe style blade. I always loved the classy tactical look of Custom Emersons and JWS, but in a compact every day carry platform.

OH...and it flips like dream.

I've admired Trevor's work for a while now, and I've only heard good things about him. Eight weeks isn't bad at all! I figured it'd be at least 6 months.

How's the jimping on the flipper tab? Is it pretty grippy? I've noticed that a few SA makers do jimping very well, my Thorburns are like Velcro:D
 
I have admired that model for several yrs now. You have a gorgeous custom. I have owned one "front-flipper" but really could not get used to it, and sold it. Regardless, it's something to be proud of.

Yup. I started the conversation with Trevor on Feb. 24th. Finalized details and sent my down payment Early March. He was complete with the knife about a week ago, which puts us at 8 weeks, but he decided to express ship the knife from Atlanta (as he was attending Blade).

Very grippy. If the 21 was too little and the 25 was too much, the jimping on the LEXK Plus is just right.
 
Fantastic. Trevor tells me my LEXK will be delivered end of June. Mine will be all Ti with a special addition. Something he hasn't done before. Can't wait.
 
That looks really nice. Been admiring his work for awhile, especially the Dakar. Enjoy.
