My custom designed pocket fixed blade

Not too shabby.

I like it but if anything, its a little tall in the blade - that tall point would how ever be an excellent spot to rest the index finger for fine work.

Thank you and that's what it's there for. The specs are 7.5 oal with a 3.5 inch blade made of a2 at 60 and the handle is black canvas micarta.

Im partial to A2 and have a favorite hunting knife in that steel.

OAL seems fine for pocket carry and 3.5 is certainly capable of attending to 90% of tasks.

I have a small 'bushcraft' knife, which has about the same specs - 7 inch OAL and almost 3.5 blade - and thats certainly capable of most tasks

Looks reasonable for a fixed blade. The blade looks a bit tall to me but might be OK for a blade of that length. Some people like taller blades and I see lots of other designs with similar proportions. The steel, the blade thickness and the scale material all sound good to me and I like that it has a somewhat keen point.
