Raga, kusanem (can't write Magyar but I think that's how to spell it phonetically) for sharing this great knife.
Greetings to you all!
My name is Gabor Fazekas, I made Raga's knife Wild Bill. Thank you Raga and Palesz for introducing me in this topic and thanks for everybody for your appreciation!
Knife making is mostly a hobby, some kind of "self-realization" for me.
After a few tries at the beginning, - where I mostly tried to learn all the necessary technics and routine -, I started to realise what I want to attain. I named it "sculpted knives" and the point is that I'm making a useful, functional and high-quality knife, and I'm also trying to "fill" it with stories, cultural things and all my influences. Every knife is individual. At the first step I design the "background" of it (collecting materials, search informations,) and then I'm making the knife to relay this "background" as a story. To reach my goal I can do anything. I use everything from traditional things and natural materials to the most modern technics and synthetic materials.
I'm a beginner here at Bladeforum, and I don't know how things go here, but if you are interested, I gladly show photos of my other works.
Best regards,
GF Knives
