I hope no one minds me showing this off. I'm very pleased with it, and I thank the Hog that sold it to me!!

First, before the pics, I'll explain what may or may not be the custom parts of the knife. You'll notice the deeper clip point and swedge on the blade, as well as the slight recurve of the belly. The next obvious difference is what seems to be hand smoothed magnum micarta handles. The palm swell is great.

I've read a couple negative comments on the M6; heavy handle, poor balance, impractical blade length to weight ratio... etc. I dont have issue with any of that. Its one tank of a knife. Sure its heavy, but it should be. You could probably put the pommel through a piece of plywood. I can pry with this blade with little issue, and still handle most typical camp tasks... I love it

And now for the make sexy part...

Great knife man; the M6 is my favorite survival knife! Good job on the pictures too. I find it hard to take good pictures of my blades. I need to get a lesson from Lunde!

Thanks man. I'm no pro. Lighting is the key though. These were actually shot around 6:30 pm last night and the sun was going down. Not that great. You lose detail. Most people never utilize the settings on a point and shoot digital. Try switching to the "macro" setting (usually has a flower icon) for extreme closeups. You get insane focus detail in the fore-ground but it blurs anything about a foot into the background.

I like the hand-shaped handles. I've got one left for a future in-service gift. I may hand-sand the handles on it. Just b'cuz.

I like it! Was it bought like that from SRKW or was it sent there for the custom work? I was just curious because I have one and there are a few things that I would like to have done to it.

I bought it from someone but i'm pretty sure it came right from SR that way. They'll do custom work though, just contact them with what you have in mind.
