My D2 Para edc with scale mod

Hi all, Just wanted to show off my EDC, I had recently bought my fisrst Spydie a Tenatious and was blown away, naturally I needed a high end spydie....gave the tenatious to my dad(wich he carries everyday now lol) ang got the Para.

What a knife, I did not quite fit my large hands so I removed about 3mm from the butt end and it now fits perfect. I also did some tideous jimping to the scales wich this knife deserves....love it.

Nice mod there! Did the scales come in that color or did you change that somehow?

It actually changes colors from a dark green to a paler dusty green, alot of it depends on lighting and what its behind. I'll post some pics.

I do think a desert tan g10 would look hella nice. :)

Especially with a black blade.
 
Thanks all, took me a few hours to do, I was being extra carefull not to mess up....I used guitar nut files.
 
Nice work. Professional looking. I had done almost the same to mine awhile back but was impressed with the notches in the handle of yours. Didn't know about those guitar nut files.
They have very thin edges for filing. Thanks for that tip. I used needle files which made the notches wider then yours. Yours look better. Also opened mine up for a better grip as my pinky wasn't fitting in the handle. Again nice workmanship.
