Hi all.
This pic just popped up from my Dad...strangely on Mums fbmsngr...

My Uncle in England apparently has it...not bad condition for its age...my Dad is 86...which puts him in Scouts some 70 yrs ago around 1950 at age 16.
I have not seen it before...suggested some leather dressing for the handle.
Could be a Rodgers?

isn't that a marbles of some sort?
This was my first thought as well.
However, after looking closer at the tang stamp, the arrow looks like the one used by Russell on their Barlow bolsters, sans the pierced "R".

Did Russell make hunting/sheath knives? Who else had an arrow tang stamp?

Nice One !!! If it doesn't have "Sheffield England" stamped somewhere on it, could be it wasn't ever intended for export. Don't think it's a Rodgers, based on this Rodgers that appears to be similar vintage as yours ...

... I believe it's a Wade & Butcher Sheffield until proven otherwise
I've seen the arrow and circled B one at least one Wade & Butcher fixed blade knife
And several Wade & Butcher with the exact same leather and spacer configuration (unlike the Rodgers above) ... but different tang stamps
( W. & S. Butcher Ltd )

If doing research, might take a look at "Wade & Butcher hunting knives" and see what you can find

EDIT: Not exactly like yours, but one example of a Wade & Butcher tang stamp ...
I'm pretty sure yours is a Wade & Butcher. No so sure of the model, but the pattern is very similar to their "Teddy" (Theodore Roosevelt)

He tells me I wouldnt have passed The DirtyFists Knife Slingers safety test.....just because I snipped the top of my finger off with secateurs 2 days ago in an extreme gardening accident.... Nevertheless I aim to get that knife in hand....its an heirloom imo.
Cheers.
