My Dads Scouts knife..need help with ID

Dad grew up in the 40s and 50s in the shadow of John Players...the "Dirty Fists"...was actually dirty firsts...a Scouts group formed by Players ...the blade he tells me was given to him down from his uncle.
I remember you telling me about the John Players connection before mate, your dad will have seen a lot of changes in Nottingham over the years. I have a pal who lives in The Meadows, he's from Dublin originally, but has been there since 1962 👍

I took delivery on the weekend...Its in amazing condish for its age...Wondering whether the sheath is original...and how worn down the blade has become...the grooves are worn looking...

Sweet knife.
I have a Kabar and a Catt that were bent like that and straightened right out. The tangs must have been drawn pretty soft. So you get a reminder not to pry without breaking the blade.
