My Daugther Abby's surgery moved up

Thanks everyone!

Abby came through the surgery very well. She was off the breathing tube by around 4pm. She is resting on heavy pain meds, but does respond to us when she is awake. Mom is staying with her tonight, and i am home again for the night.

We are so blessed!

I knew everything would be fine. She'll be at school and playing with her friends in no time flat.

Thanks all!

She is continuing to recover well, walking some, and is now allowed to eat some mild food. A day or two more, and she may be home!

That's the second bit of great news I've gotten today.

Sometimes, not always, maybe not even often, the good guys win one.

Prayers answered, so far!

Make sure she gets reminded ever once in a while, in years to come, about all the prayers that went up for her recovery. That can be an even greater legacy for her for the rest of her life than even the physical healing itself.
 
Prayers sent from Ohio. Hang in there. Kids really are resiliant and heal quickly. Much more so than adults. I know that probably doesn't help, but the prayers will.
 
Abby is home!!!

I remember coming here to visit several years ago as I wanted to re ignite my interest in Khukuris, that dated back to childhood. I found that, but a bunch of great people too! I am so blessed to know you all.
