My day just got made.

His words were something along the lines of "I really have no idea when your knife would be ready. The stuff I'm working on now was ordered 5-6 years ago. But if you're willing to wait, I'll out you on the books." He kind of laughed and said to be patient. I'm guessing it will be about 6 years. That's a hell of a long wait but for the best slipjoints in the world, I think it's worth it.

He didn't school me in traditional folders, although I wish he would have :D. We talked a little about how stag was nearly impossible to get now days becasue of the trade embargo with India and we talked a little about the blade show.

I really ordered these knives to use, but I bet I'm going to have trouble doing so! They're so purty!

I'll email you. He has a great sense of humor. Next time you talk with him, mention that you heard he's a wizard with kydex and carbon fiber. Be prepared for a good half hour rant though.

You've got a Bose...so, now what? Loveless, Horn, Buster Warenski?? Thing is, with an original Tony Bose you've reached the top of the mountain...there's nowhere else to go!!

Well...not to worry. I'm here to help you out of this catastrophic situation. When you get your Bose, just send it on to me...then you will be free to pursue all those other great knives out there again....I will even pay half the shipping costs. It's really the least I can do for a fellow knifeaholic :D
